Actor Lee Sang-yi and Gong Myung have emerged as the new ‘sub male characters’. Each of them is attracting viewers’ attention by carrying out affectionate love triangle romance on tvN’s “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” and SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky”.

Lee Sang-yi formed tension by appearing as the main character Kim Seon-ho‘s love rival in “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” which is gaining popularity with 10.7% in viewer ratings. In the drama, he meets his university junior Shin Min-a and tells her, “I regret not confessing to you before”. However, after Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho became lovers, he cheers for their love and even shares strange friendships with Kim Seon-ho, establishing themselves as popular characters.
Through this, he emphasized his friendly image in various TV shows such as MBC’s “Hang Out With Yoo” and tvN’s “Sixth Sense 2”. In the fourth week of September (September 20th-26th) of Good Data Corporation, a hot topic research company, he was ranked eighth in the hot topic of drama casts.
