“Squid Game” Records Top Ranking in 83 Countries (2021/10/04)

Netflix’s original Korean drama “Squid Game” took over India and set a new record of achieving first place in all 83 countries where Netflix rankings are counted. It is the first time in Netflix history.

According to Flix Patrol, a content streaming service ranking site, “Squid Game” has topped ‘Netflix Today’s Top 10 TV Programs’ for 10 days from the 23rd to the 2nd of last month.

Global ranking points scored 828 points, ranking first in the TV program category in 81 countries, including the United States and India, excluding Denmark and Turkey. In Denmark and Turkey, it ranked first until the 30th of last month and ranked second from the 1st of this month, while in India, it maintained second place after “Kota Factory” and rose to first place on the 1st.
